Best Robot Vacuum Cleaner and Mop

Robot vacuum cleaners and mops are the best method of quickly cleaning up mess. The top robot vacuums and mops that I have tested come with top-quality mapping and navigation, picking up Cheerios, tangled wires and fake dog turds with out leaving them behind.

They're also simple to use with an application that lets you plan cleaning tasks and track what they're working on.

1. Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra

If you're looking for the top robot vacuum and mop combo with cutting-edge features you should look no further than the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. This top-of-the-line vacuum is fast and agile and was able to pick up human hair and pet hair almost perfectly in our Debris Pickup Test. It also has a smart-looking app interface with a miniature map of your house and some on-screen buttons to control the device manually.

The S8's Dirt Detection Technology enables it to alter the cleaning mode in accordance with the level of dirt. It will wash its mopping pads more frequently when it encounters dust. Carpeted areas get the first priority when mopping with mopping pads that are damp.

The mop roller comes with a number of other smart features, including docks that connects to the plumbing system in your home to clean and wash it without having to manually refill the mop. With the built-in voice assistant on the S8 you can make use of voice commands to set rooms cleaning options and the ability to control granular settings using only your voice.

2. Yeedi Cube

The Yeedi Cube offers a variety of options for those seeking an automated robot vacuum that is hands-free that can also mop. It's one of many combo robot vacuums with mops that are also priced lower than the competition.

As with most robovacs the Yeedi Cube also requires some work to get it started. This includes setting up an account on the app and connecting the device to your WiFi network. Once that's done the robot is able to begin vacuuming and mopping with ease.

It's important to note that the mapping process can take some time and the Yeedi Cube may need a few attempts before it has an accurate image of your space. The object detection is also hit-and-miss. It was able to maneuver around furniture and other obstacles, however, it got stuck on a looser rug with tassels and had to flip over to get it out of the way. These aren't major issues and the Yeedi Cube remains a great choice for those who need an appliance that can do everything.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete is a three-in one home cleaning solution. Its innovative mopping system uses the rotation of the motion, which is similar to hand scrubbers. This means that floors are cleaned, not just being swept. The vacuum stick that can be detached is an innovative tool that can reach areas where robot vacuums can't.

The model is basically identical to the popular X2 Omni, but with a slightly higher suction power of 8700Pa, and a few additional smart features. The upgraded RGBD sensor will learn to understand your home's layout better and provide dynamic obstacle avoidance. And the smart app lets you modify a variety of settings that include scheduling, AI cleanings, and setting virtual boundaries.

The X2 Combo is also self-prepping by having both the robot vacuum as well as the mop returning to their charging base after each task to clean their pads and empty their dust bins, and then place the debris in the self-sealing bags. This helps keep the system tidy and also stops allergens from circulating. The battery life is long enough to clean large areas without requiring a charge mid-clean.

4. Eufy S1 Pro

As one of the premium robot vacuum and mop models that are available, the Eufy S1 Pro offers impressive features for its price. It is equipped with a powerful 8,000 Pa suction power and a rotating brush that is ideal for carpets and hard floors, and great obstacle avoidance. It also features a unique mopping system, that uses a roller that is continuously dosed with water to pick up dirt and deposit it in the water that is dirty tank.

Its navigation system was efficient. It stayed clear of steps and walked close to walls without crashing. It was unable to handle fine debris and didn't always clear the raised thresholds in rooms. Its operating noise is also quite high, which suggests it could be a less reliable set-and-forget model than others.

As with most robotic vacuums and mop cleaners, the S1 Pro comes with a docking station that lets you refill its clean water as well as empty its dustbin and mop pad, as well as wash and dry its mop. This makes maintenance easy and allows the S1 Pro spend more time cleaning floors according to the regular schedule. Eufy's application lets you manage all of its functions. The app lets users fine-tune the map coverage, set up no-go zones and alter the cleaning preferences. The main roller brush of the Freo is also engineered to prevent hair from wrapping around it, which is a major issue with many robotic vacuums.

The Mop Mode is impressive too and comes with Reuleaux triangular mop pads that spin at 180 RPM and can apply up to 12N of downward pressure. The mopping system also includes intelligent carpet detection, which lifts the pads up when they're in proximity to soft surfaces, preventing them from contaminating them with.

The docking station acts as a hands-free maintenance centre that automatically washes and dry the mops, and refills them with detergent and distillate water. The base station features an integrated dust-processing system that compacts dust, which allows for 7 weeks of maintenance free operation.

A few hundred dollars more than the S8 This robot does a bang-up job of keeping my office clean and can also take on the corners of my tiny apartment. And, unlike many vacuums with mopping capabilities, it has object/obstacle detection that is able to avoid things like dog toys and bowls (but not poop!).

Similar to the S8 It also has multi-room smart mapping, and can differentiate between laminate flooring, carpets and hardwood with high-pile rugs. With a cost of less than $250 and less than $250, the Q5 Pro is a bargain-friendly powerhouse that packs serious suction and useful automation into a slick design. It wasn't as efficient as the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra in our tests for vacuuming however, it performed quite well. It has a range of cleaning modes, ranging from the quiet mode with low power which is suitable for small debris to the powerful  Turbo mode for carpeted areas. It even has the ability to automatically remove and reattach its mop pads without getting your carpets wet.

8. K10 Plus

The K10 Plus is an excellent robot mop and vacuum cleaner that can be used even in small spaces. It's very quiet and fast, and it does a great job of navigating tight spots. It is also very good at removing pet hair off carpeting.

It's smaller than many of its competitors however it doesn't compromise features. It has a decent suction capacity and can be set to take pictures of each object it chooses (i.e. chew toys socks, chew toys) and mark them in the app as "not found' to ensure that they are not taken up in subsequent cleanings.  good robot vacuum  are encrypted, and aren't tied to your account.

It's great for vacuuming, but it's not so good in mopping. It uses disposable wipes that clip onto the bottom of the bot and drags them across the floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra or Narwhal with water reservoirs, and automatically wash and attach their mopheads.
